Podcast 86: B.C. in 2024 A.D.

J.R. joins us from bandcamp this week, so he's on the cell phone Skype app. That's why it sounds like he's on the phone. He was totally on the phone. We now bid farewell to two-parter episodes.

Podcast breakdown:

0:00 -- nuqneH and some talk (mostly Netflix)
21:53 -- "Defiant"
40:40 -- "Fascination"
1.05:04 -- "Past Tense, Part I"
1.12:50 -- "Past Tense, Part II"
1.40:22 -- Podcast awards and rankings
1.50:15 -- Next episode guesses
1.57:12 -- Qapla' and outtakes

This might be illegal, but here's that SNL where the presidential candidates go to the Star Trek convention.

Podcast 85: My Second Skin I'm Swimming In

For a podcast that deals with futuristic wonderful technology, our recording technology is surprisingly lacking. Prepare yourselves to hear all sorts of wonderful struggles of two people just trying to record a conversation over Skype. Also, we had a fun time with some pretty darn good episodes juxtaposed with one hilariously bad one. Place your bets now on what's what.

Some long-time listeners may be confused about J.R. talking about his future children. This may fly in the face of the events mentioned in Podcast 62. We're accepting plausible theories that justify our current timeline.

Podcast breakdown:

0:00 -- nuqneH and some viewer mail
12:43 -- More viewer mail
16:07 -- "Second Skin"
34:59 -- "The Abandoned"
51:16 -- "Civil Defense"
1.05:19 -- "Meridian"
1.21:29 -- Podcast awards and rankings
1.32:16 -- Next episode guesses
1.39:33 -- Qapla' and outtakes

Podcast 84: The Search is Over

We're back! And sorry!

Season 3 of DS9 finally begins with a two-parter. Said two-parter ends with... 80s supergroup Survivor? We had a LOT of viewer mail piled up, so we pretty much used that instead of us talking ourselves.

Podcast breakdown:

0:00 -- nuqneH
13:05 -- Viewer mail
25:05 -- "The Search, Pt. I"
40:52 -- "The Search, Pt. II"
58:13 -- "The House of Quark"
1.09:49 -- "Equilibrium"
1.21:41 -- Podcast awards and rankings
1.35:16 -- Next episode guesses
1.41:57 -- Qapla' and outtakes

If the outtakes weren't enough for you, we strongly suggest you view this video.

Wow! Turns out Eddington really is in the movie Krull!

Huh. Turns out Grilka is Na'Toth in Babylon 5. There's some good sci-fi cross-pollination for you!
