- While waiting, I burnt my tongue on the first hot chocolate of the season. #StarTrekDiscovery
- CBS All Access isn’t giving me access one minute in. This may be a real short tweet sesh. #StarTrekDiscovery
- Guessing CBS won't let me stream it until it actually airs in my neighborhood. Or they never actually made a new ST show. #StarTrekDiscovery
- Found the Live TV application on CBS All Access and now I hope this Oprah segment on 60 Minutes doesn't end. #StarTrekDiscovery
- I tell ya, I'm not sure I'm ready for dark and gritty after three episodes of The Orville. #StarTrekDiscovery
- Hey hey it's starting! They did make it! We got some Klingon harmony goin right at the get-go.
- I think this may be Klingon Ned Stark speaking.
- Pretty weird to switch to English right in the middle of a dramatic speech. Perhaps English is considered sort of cosmopolitan.
- Predator water well aliens.
- Best technology: footprints.
- Like the TOS lilt at the beginning of the theme song. Not sure what to think of the Mad Men opening, though.
- Michelle Yeoh isn't in the main cast? I've really stayed away from spoilers, but this is like a reverse spoiler that's been taken back.
- Do we have a middle name for Michael? There's potential for a really unfortunate middle name as a woman. #StarTrekDiscovery
- 2256: a Sunday. Tech: damage mech.
- Two straight minutes of technobabble. We need Levar Burton in this one. #StarTrekDiscovery
- I sure hope Saru becomes at least competent and not just anxious.
- Will half of this episode be the shuttlecraftless flyby?
- Giant space Christo exhibit?
- I suppose now that I'm subscribed to CBS, I'll need to withstand a bunch of Young Sheldon commercials.
- They're turning the torchbearer into the mummy. Oh, there's the Klingon death yell. Haven't seen that in a while.
- Flashback! Sweet Vulcan haircut on Mike. Plus yet another Sarek actor!
- Best outfit: Mike's Leeloo outfit in the burn ward.
- One crewmember seems to be a member of Daft Punk with "Red Alert" flashing on the helmet.
- I need a future historian to confirm the existence of Klingon cloaking technology in 2256.
- Voq, Son of None. You know nothing Voq Snow.
- Oh wait. His hand is in the fire. You know nothing Voq Targaryen.
- First albino Klingon? Perhaps most don't last through childhood.
- Death sensor! There's a plus to the Saru character!
- "Admiral Princess Leia Organa on the blockade runner smuggling a message to a droid"
- The sound weapon has a mute button option for the victims?
- The Vulcan hello is shooting first. Vulcans have been getting lamer every decade.
- Okay I called that nerve pinch. Also, the first successful human neck pinch in Star Trek history? You better have a goooood reason, MIke.
- More commercials. I sure hope there are vampires in that new Seal Team show with Boreanaz.
